My graphic design lecturer recently sent me email of work that had inspired her this week. While looking through the links I came across some minimalistic poster designs for a collection of Stephen King books. The approach work is very simple and tells the story using the simplest type of imagery. A very interesting style of illustration and a very nice idea to bind the books together as a set. I think what works well is consistency between the posters, there is no over top imagery that I find can complicate this type of image and the typography feels very well considered in relation to position and the actual font used. Must remember to thank Tash for sending me some inspiring work!
